Common Questions

The webbing on our straps is 10mm in width.

If your camera has straps slots that are 10mm, then our straps will fit!

There is a work around for this, however it's not a perfect solution as it requires a triangle split ring to be attached to the strap lug.

They can be tricky to get on and there is the potential for them to wear against the finish of the camera unless you use a leather protector that usually comes with the rings.

We have now had a few customers use this solution and they are happy with the results but I definitely want you to be aware of the possible cosmetic wear on the camera if you don't use some sort of buffer between the ring and the camera.

To find these in your local area I would google 'triangle split ring for camera with leather protector'.

Our camera straps are made with 10mm webbing.

If your Hasselblad X2D came with strap connectors, and the strap slots are 10mm in width, you can use your connectors to attach our straps to your camera!

Any connector that fits your camera, providing it has a 10mm strap slot will work!

If your camera did not come with connectors, you can purchase them online.

*We do always recommend customers use premium clips and not order 3rd party clips.

It is possible, and we have had some photographers use their strap in this way, however it requires a tripod plate that has 10mm strap slots.

The tripod plate will be what the Lucky Strap attaches too, please note that we do not stock these plates and it is not included with your strap purchase.

The Regular Length straps are a little longer than a stock strap, perfect for using as a traditional neck strap or hanging off one shoulder.  Also works as a cross body strap for most people up to about 170cm (5'7" tall).

Our Long Length straps are 25cm longer than our Standard Length which makes them better for wearing across the body for people over 170cm (5'7") tall.

More detailed info on choosing a strap here.

NOTE: If you are a tall person, who has long legs, but a short torso, the Regular Length may in fact be a better fit. Same theory may also apply for a shorter person, who has a long torso.

Something that may help is; if you have a current strap and it is adjusted to your liking, measure it (end to end) from the camera attachment points and see what the length measures.

From this length you measure, you can work it out which strap length is best for you using out Camera Strap Specifications guide.

Or you can email us your current strap length information and we can help you out!

DELUXE 45 CAMERA STRAPS WITH CUSTOM EMBOSSING

We ask that you allow 2-3 weeks for any Deluxe 45 orders to be dispatched that has custom embossing and 4-6 weeks for custom logo embossing items to be dispatched.

*Please be aware this does not include shipping time.

We want to make sure the strap is perfect and we do not want to rush this process and end up with a poor embossing finish.

If you are in need of a Deluxe 45 in a shorter time frame please contact us, as it may be possible to get one, however there are some limitations including;

  • the embossing would need to be BLIND
  • the font either Block or Times
  • and, the text would need to be less than 12 characters long.
