Yeah that's right, I have been a full time pro photographer for over 6 years and I still don't own a drone....
I have almost bought one so many times but just never went through with it as I didn't know if I would use it enough to justify the price. Plus I had to carry the drone, batteries, charger and remote on all my trips and I already max out my luggage with regular camera gear!
All of this changed when the DJI Mavic Mini was announced 5 days ago. It's tiny, fairly cheap and the video quality seems good enough for me to use in some upcoming projects.
I'm not sure about you, but I still research the heck out of everything I buy even if it is pretty affordable compared to my other gear. I thought it might be useful to throw up the 5 videos that helped my decide to buy the DJI Mavic Mini as my first drone.
