Details and Sizing
Will it fit me?
The Standard Length is little longer than a stock strap, perfect for using as a traditional neck strap or hanging off one shoulder. Also works as a cross body strap for most people up to about 170cm (5'7" tall).
Our Long Length straps are 25cm longer than our Standard Length which makes them better for wearing across the body for people over 170cm (5'7") tall.
This strap will work with almost any camera, especially larger DSLR setups with heavy lenses. It attaches in the same way as the stock strap that came with your camera, so basically any camera that has a set of 10mm webbing slots or rings will work! Click here for more info.
How strong is it?
We have designed these straps to be worn all day with the heaviest pro DSLR setups so you can rest assured they are strong enough. If you are looking for a weight I have attached 50kg (115lb) of weight to a camera without the strap breaking, but I hope your camera is not that heavy!
Any of our full leather camera straps can be personalised with a name or even a logo!
The personalisation is achieved by hot pressing the letters into the leather resulting in a timeless look and feel.
You choose the embossing options on the product page as you are adding the strap to your cart.
Choice of three fonts - Block, Times or Cursive
Multiple Colour/Finish options
Prices starting from just AUD$20 for initials only
The Nubuck finish of this awesome Desert Tan leather has just the right combination of slip and grip making it perfect for using across your body like a sling. It stays put when the camera is by your side but is only a second away from being pulled up to your eye as you navigate bustling markets in South East Asia or a crowded downtown wedding reception! Our lightest brown, this leather almost looks pre-faded and looks great with anything from a Tuxedo to Blue Jeans. Very similar to our previous ‘Classic Brown’ leather only slightly lighter. It’s super soft right out of the box, but will continue to soften with use until it’s so comfortable that you don’t know where your body ends and the strap begins.
Standard 53 Design
This design was our first camera strap and is by far our most popular strap of all time! The 'Standard 53' is wider, longer and handmade from soft leather so that you can carry your DSLR all day without getting sore.
Unlike our Simple range, the body of the Standard 53 is actually two pieces of leather which is glued back-to-back and stitched together for a lifetime of durability. We then add our embossed end pieces which are also glued and stitched to connect the 10mm webbing ends to the main body.

I use this strap with my wildlife camera set up. I use it cross torso style. I climb with it, scramble up and down mountainsides, boulder hop, you name it - this strap has endured it. It is BULLETPROOF. I love this strap. I count on it to keep expensive camera gear safe. It handles a heavy camera/ big lens load and strikes the right balance between durability and comfort. I've recommended this strap, and Lucky in general, to my friends that are into photography. These straps are worth twice the cost the sell for. I will only buy Lucky Camera straps in the future. In fact, I think I will go buy another camera right now, just so I can put a Lucky Camera strap on it.
What I needed
As someone with mobility issues I needed a strap that would sit in the hip area on the left whilst I used my mobility aids with my right side. Length is adjustable and it sits perfectly where I wanted it. The strap also needed to be long enough to keep it on my body while using a monopod due to issues with my hands and not wanting to drop my expensive gear. Again, it fulfills this need relatively well. The quick release option is also great for when I want the camera on the tripod and don't want the strap getting in the way. On top of all that, it looks great too. Quality product with excellent communication through the process of ordering and receiving.
Purchased this as a gift and it was perfect and so affordable! Looked so good, professional and classy. The personalised text was also such a good touch. Definitely would recommend 👌🏽
A piece of Art
I’ve bought a Standard 53 - Lucky Strap to be the perfect companion of my beloved classic Nikon film cameras and I’m super happy with the choice I made. In spite of a vintage look the strap is up to highest modern standards: sling use, hitech materials for webbing and Quick Release Locks. What to say, other than suggest it to any true camera lovers?
Love my new Standard 53 - Antique Brown strap. So comfortable and stylish.
